ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

Programme will go live on 20th February 2023 with a live Webinar

This unique programme is a much needed addition to the canine world. Grooming can be a stressful time for many dogs, and currently there is a gap of knowledge and education for trainers, behaviourists, groomers and guardians. Groomers are not trainers, trainers are not groomers and guardians are neither. This programme is aimed at upskilling trainers, behaviourists and groomers so that they can support their human clients so that in turn, they can support their canine companions.

TAKING THE GRRR OUT OF GROOMING DOGS ETHOS

Taking the Grrr out of grooming dogs is completely committed to giving our canine companions the least stressful grooming experience possible. For many dogs, this will mean using consent based techniques so that they have choices and are not forced to tolerate grooming techniques they are not comfortable with. The aim is to introduce all aspects of grooming using a positive based approach both inside the grooming salon, and at home.
